In this episode, we're going to talk about something very important, the environment. We'll look at useful vocabulary, talk about problems like pollution, and share simple things we can all do to protect our planet. So John, when you hear the word environment, what do you think of? For me, the environment means nature. The air, the water, the trees, the animals. It's everything around us. Exactly. And right now, people talk a lot about protecting the environment. Yeah. Because we have problems like air pollution, plastic waste, and climate change. True. But it's not only about big problems. It's also about small actions we take every day. Let's go over some useful words. One, pollution. Dirty air, water, or land. Two, recycling. Using old materials again, like plastic or paper. Three, climate change. Big changes in the world's weather. Four, waste, things we throw away. Five, renewable energy. clean energy like solar or wind power. And some useful phrases. One, we should giving advice. Two, we need to stronger advice. Three, it's important to showing importance. Four, everyone can, including all people. So, John, what do you do to help the environment? Well, I try to recycle bottles and paper. I also bring my own bag to the supermarket. Nice. I usually carry a reusable water bottle so I don't buy plastic bottles. That's smart. I think we should also save electricity, like turning off the lights when we leave a room. Yeah, small things make a big difference if everyone does them. Jessica, what do you think the environment will be like in the future? H I hope it will be cleaner and that people use more renewable energy. But if we don't change, the problems will get worse.
